BizCard.name is aiming to provide an online alternative for traditional business cards.
Users can create a profile (BizCard) by posting their data online and then give their contacts a "BizCard ID" which will make their profile viewable from anywhere online.
To protect privacy, users can choose how and to whom their data is displayed. As with any social network users can choose to block other users or add them to their "Trusted Contacts" list.
Other users' BizCards are stored in "BizCard Holder" which also serves as an address book for contacts not registered with BizCard.name.

Dynamic multilingual site
Website for a computer shop. Mostly static HTML pages but with a dynamic "Get a Quote" module.
The module generated a price quote for products selected by user. This quote could then be sent to the store as an order request.
Affiliates were indentified by password and their discounts were calculated accordingly.
All order requests were logged and saved for future reference.
Module was written in Perl. Data was stored in flat text files.
The goal was to streamline the existing web site which was put together by the client himself.
